Medical costs of children admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit: the role and possible economic impact of exome sequencing in early diagnosis

Implementatie van whole exome sequencing voor kinderen op de NICU kan zowel klinisch als economisch impact hebben. Aan de hand van verschillende scenario’s hebben we gekeken naar de impact van whole exome sequencing als alternatief voor de huidige genetische diagnostiek. Hierbij is onderscheid gemaakt tussen kinderen met/zonder aangeboren afwijkingen.
