Every future physician needs to have basic knowledge of predisposition to hereditary cancers, not only because of its clinical implications for patients and families but also because heredity in cancer raises numerous questions and anxieties in patients and families. This training school teaches you all we know about hereditary leukemia and lymphoma, all the way from the bench to the patient and its family. You will learn about basic genetic cancer mechanisms, clinical phenotypes of cancer syndromes, how new genes are discovered in patients with suspect of hereditary hematological malignancies, as well as legal and ethical aspects of counseling and screening of patients and families with hereditary leukemia or lymphoma.
